I used to listen to a lot of alternative stuff (R.E.M. - older - Collective Soul, Stone Temple Pilots). For fight scenes, thanks forever to the Matrix, it would be electronica (Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Propellerheads).

I subscribe to XM radio and also to Napster. Luckily I can listen to XM here at work, and I mostly listen to - in order - XM Pops (peppy popular Classical), Cinemagic (movie soundtracks), XM Classics (Classical music. entire symphonies), The System (electronica/dance), BPM (House electronica), 70's, 60's, 80's, 90's, Big Tracks/Top tracks (classic rock).

Personally I like classical because many times I've never heard it before in my life, there's no words so I can't associate certain things to it, so I can sit and listen and see pictures run before my eyes.

Napster has "radio stations" as well but they're not half as good as XM's. So if I see something I like (which, I've noticed, happens to be Mozart a lot), I write it down and go find it on Napster later.
