At Burning Void.com, there's a booklet (29 pages) of questions to ask yourself about your character beyond the "name, date, serial number". So I figured on picking one, maybe a day, maybe every other day, and exploring it with the toons I actually care about. At the moment the list is:

Masonry Redux
Masonry (They might be different. I'm not sure yet)
Rusty Gears
Suicidal Wombat
Fethshael
Frozen Decibel
Ges (I don't play him much, but I love his character concept)
and maybe one or two random ones that happen to give me a good answer.

If your character had a favorite theme song, what would it be?

The funny thing is, we have discussed this on Futura Force boards. My answer's slightly changed since then.

Masonry Redux: Phoenix by e.s. Posthomous (sp).
Masonry: Flower by Moby
Rusty Gears: Viva las Vegas by ZZ Top (how obvious)
Wombat: Waltzing Matilda? No!
Fethshael: Born Too Slow - Chemical Brothers

I actually have a playlist called "Games" and one also for each character. I just finished building Rusty's. A lot of the playlists have crossovers (Chemical Brothers, Posthumos, Moby) but some are original (Womby has "Something's Burning" by Kenny Rogers which also fits Masonry Redux but not Rusty. "Cherry Cherry" by Neil Diamond is on Womby's, but not MR or Rusty. Feth has a lot of classic rock - "Hot for Teacher" is one.)

Wings is what I listened to constantly during the summer of 2006, mostly because of the line "The weights on your shoulders could be the wings that carry you home." For Kill at that time, it was perfect.

I will probably have to revisit this question for Ges and Decibel.
